Surf Life Saving stamps

First Day Covers for NZ Post to celebrate 100 years of surf life saving in New Zealand, designed while with the excellent crew at Creature. The franking stamp is a nod to the flags that beach-goers are all to familiar with. For the first day covers NZ Post specifications dictate franking in two places on the envelope which leads very nicely to the reference of ‘swimming between the flags’.
