BloomsberryLabs
BloomsberryLabs is a fashionable chocolate with a twist. Working with über technical illustrator Leandro Castelao we developed a unique solution whereby all the chocolate bars could join together creating a it’s own lab. However, in a recent press satement Bloomsberry & Co categorically denied all knowledge of the existence of Labs: “BloomsberryLabs is a myth in search of an enigma,” stated one staff member, “I refuse to be drawn into a hypothetical discussion about an imaginary secret facility deep in the Swiss Alps where new life enhancing chocolate innovations are developed and then released onto an unsuspecting public”. So there.
The collection.
Clearly there is something going on here, I mean come on. Email Chocolate? Chocolate Survival Kit? But just imagine… sit back… and go with it and you’ll see it’s kinda fun.
Wrappers.
Having designed the outside we turned our attention to the inside creating a giant tesselating pattern out of Leandro’s illustrations making the idea of these inter-connected parts of the machine come to life. Some might say that such effort for a chocolate wrapper, that will ultimately be binned recycled, is foolish, but we beg to differ. The experience of Bloomsberry goes far beyond the chocolate itself and if we can make every step along the way that little bit more fun and interesting we have done our job.
Website.
Naturally there was a website too, which gave us the opportunity to extend the ‘lab’ feel further with the whole blueprint idea. Linking it up to Facebook reinforced the social nature of this product. You are supposed to share your chocolate, you know that right?
