Celebrating World Teachers’ Day 2011. Some of the things I was taught at school were quite confusing. Like ‘i before e except after c’. Hundreds of words break this rule — so too does my surname as it starts with an ‘i’ and an ‘e’ but comes after my firstname which is a ‘c’ (and a sea too as it happens)… Heck, I think I've just got detention.
